Full Job Description
DyTerra is hiring a Service Technician to join our Saskatoon team. This is a hands-on role focused on equipment service, repair, and troubleshooting. We are a full-service supplier to the fertilizer and propane industries, providing equipment service, inspections, repairs, remounts, and installation support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance and repairs on agricultural and propane equipment

  • Perform installation of fertilizer and NH3 equipment systems

  • Remount tanks on propane trucks (wiring, assembly, fabrication, testing)

  • Perform Transport Canada tank inspections and hose testing

  • Assemble tanks, wagons, and plumbing systems

  • Complete service and repair work in both shop and field environments

Requirements

  • Experience with mechanical troubleshooting (equipment, pumps, plumbing, or similar systems)

  • Experience with equipment repair and mechanical assembly

  • Experience using fabrication or welding as part of repair work is an asset

  • Automotive or equipment mechanical experience (wiring or controls is an asset)

  • Ability to safely lift and handle materials

  • Valid driver’s license

  • Own basic set of tools

  • Must be able to wear a respirator (clean-shaven requirement)

  • Strong commitment to safety and quality work

Important Information
This role is not structured to support Red Seal hour requirements.
The majority of this role involves equipment service, repair, and troubleshooting, with some fabrication and welding as needed.
